Jazz Cripwell

Jazz is a diverse, multi-media artist who’s development and extensive practice has led him to concentrate on fantastical and whimsical hand crafted illustration and traditional artwork in a truly unique style. 

 His bold and highly detailed hand drawn imagery presents an atmosphere of both moody, dramatic black and white visuals which work so well with his more naive, sometimes macabre, yet immensely visionary story telling, as well as vibrant colour expression when a more lively and contemporary ambiance is desired.

It is by no coincidence that Jazz’s diversity as an accomplished artist has taken his practice into film based work such as animation and projection art, fields which Jazz continues to develop and experiment with daily, enticing ever more commercial commissions which desire such distinctive and imaginative skill sets nurtured over the years.
